SUSAN B.
Alive? No.

Lincoln doesn’t respond. After a moment, the light bulb goes off for Susan.

SUSAN B. (Cont)
You didn’t tell him.

Lincoln doesn’t want to get into this.

SUSAN B. (Cont).
You didn’t tell Michael she’s dead?

LINCOLN
Can you get a picture?

SUSAN B.
I’m sure we can cobble something together… Smart move, not telling your brother. He seems a little sensitive.

Lincoln’s had enough. He starts to leave. Susan takes out a piece of paper.

SUSAN B. (Cont)
This is the exchange point. LJ and I will be waiting. You, Michael and Whistler will meet us there. Everything proceeds as it should, you’ll get your son back tonight at nine o’clock.

Lincoln nods, clearly torn over whether to correct her.

SUSAN B. (Cont)
Lincoln?

LINCOLN
Nine o’clock. We’ll be there.

EXT URIBE’S BODEGA - DAY 7

A small, somewhat rundown outdoor taco stand. Some produce, some snacks and of course, some coffee. MRS. URIBE is behind the counter. Lincoln and Sucre stand by the table with the milk and sugar. There are two cups of coffee in front of them. Lincoln looks out, makes eye contact with Sofia who stand by her car in the parking lot.
